This is a beautiful vintage 1940s Sacony ladies skirt suit by Palm Beach. The vintage suit is made of silk or a silk - like synthetic in graphite black. It is trimmed with gray and white striped material at the cuffs and neck.This woman's lightweight suit has the measurements close to that of a modern size 8, although is marked a vintage size 18. The suit buttons down the front with cloth covered buttons and the skirt has a side seam metal zipper. The suit is in excellent condition. There are medium thick shoulder pads. The suit is fitted. The waist is 28 inches, but there is a button on the waist band that can be moved over to fit a 29 inch waist. The measurements are:
Bust 40 inches Shoulders 16.5 inches Sleeves 3/4 Length Jacket Length 24 inches
