This is a fabulous mens vintage gangster suit from the 1940s. The vintage suit is a brown pinstripe suit by Hart, Schaaffner & Marx. The amalgamated union workers label dates the suit from 1939 to 1949. The jacket has a wide lapel that is 4 inches wide on each side. There are 3 buttons down the front, 3 front pockets and 1 interior pocket. The jacket is partially lined. It is 42 inches around from pit to pit all around. The pants have baggy thighs, like a zoot suit. There is a metal zipper, suspender buttons and they are cuffed. The suit is in excellent condition with no flaws. The measurements are:
Chest 42" Shoulders 18" Jacket Length 30" Sleeve Length 23", but can be let out to 25"
Inseam 28"(1 1/2" hem & 1 1/2" cuff) Waist 30", but can be let out to 33 1/2"
