This is a beautiful antique textile that is stamped "Made in Persia Trade Mark" with an emblem of an eagle's wings and a man's head in the center. The antique cloth is a 17 inch by 17 inch cotton scarf of a fight scene between ancient warriors, armed with sword, shield and club. One warrior is riding on a horse and the other is riding on the back of an elephant. There are other items on the scarf that I assume are significant to the area - there are spotted dogs, a temples, and flowers. The cloth is quite aged, but in good condition with no holes and only 1 tiny clear stain.
