This is a vintage 1950s men's double breasted tuxedo or dinner jacket made by J B Simpson Inc. The black suit coat is a black on black pin stripe wool and the lapel and lining are silk. It is a large size, probably a 44 (Check the measurements below against your own for best fit). The amalgamated clothing workers of America tag dates it to the 1950s. There is a custom tag that dates the jacket to November 1951. It has a wide rounded lapel, large shoulder pads and pockets without flaps. The jacket is in very good vintage condition and has no holes, wear, stains, or odors. The measurements are:
