This is a great 1940s vintage Sea Goddess Original halter swimsuit, which was made by Shepherd Knitwear Co. Inc. It is marked a size 36. The kelly green nylon bathing suit is fully lined with a blue nylon panties and bodice. The halter swimsuit ties at the back of the neck and has a brass zipper and 2 buttons at the lower back. The outer portion of the swimming suit is made of the type of nylon that lightweight rain jackets are made of and the lining is a jersey nylon material. The length from the top of the bodice to the hem is 26 inches.The swimsuit is in very good vintage condition and has no fading, stains, or holes. The measurements are:
