This is a vintage 50's navy blue and kelly green plaid playsuit swimsuit. This vintage 1950s plaid bathing suit has a fitted bodice and flared shorts - like legs with wide openings. The back metal zipper closing has an inner hook and eye placket section. There is a separate navy blue nylon panties stitched in with elasticized leg openings.There is a built-in bra. The shoulder straps are adjustable at the back with buttons. The plaid material has elasticity similar to a lightweight girdle. The blue waistband has extra elasticity to it for a better fit. There are no tags. The swim suit is in excellent vintage condition.
