This is a vintage 50's plaid Catalina playsuit swimsuit. This vintage 1950s plaid bathing suit has a built in bra with boning. The back metal zipper closing has an inner hook and eye placket section. It is marked a vintage size 14/36, which should fit a modern size 8. The leg openings have elastic. The shoulder straps are adjustable at the back with buttons. The plaid material resembles a medium weight cotton but has a fair amount of elasticity to it. The main color is ivory and has red and black stripes. The swim suit is in excellent vintage condition.
