This is a vintage late 1930s to early 1940s white linen skirt.The skirt has 4 metal snaps along the upper left side seam for ease with dressing. The skirt is fitted at the waist and gets wider towards the hem, in a swing style. It has the measurements close to that of a modern size 4. The skirt was found in a trunk that was marked "Summer Clothes 1938" in the attic of a recently settled estate. There is one tiny period size rust dot on the skirt, to the side of the knee area. Otherwise, the skirt is in very good vintage condition. The measurements are:
Waist 25 3/4 inches Hips 38 inches Length 24 1/2 inches
