This is a vintage 1940s navy blue pencil skirt. It has fitted waistband with a single button and just below it is a METAL ZIPPER along the left side seam. The skirt was part of a large group of women's clothing from the 1930s to 1940s. The lady was a doctors wife and she dressed professional and wore lots of linen dresses and suits. This skirt is probably a rayon blend, probably mixed with wool. It is lightweight, but not sheer. The skirt has a 3 1/2 inch hem. It is in very good condition and has no holes, tears, stains, or odors. The measurements are:
