This is a vintage Edwardian black velvet toque style hat from the early 1900s. The hat is trimmed on the front with a braided black satin piece that holds a small cluster of black feathers in place. The hat is made of 4 sections of black velvet that are sewn together. The inside of the opening is trimmed with black grosgrain ribbon. The hat will fit small and medium sizes, which includes 21 to 22 inches. The hat is in Very Good Condition and has no stains, holes, wear, fading, or odors.
