This is a beautiful chocolate brown silk satin 1920s flapper cloche hat by famed hat designer James McCreery & Company. The shop in New York City was famous from the 1890. All of his hats were well made. This hat has a silk lining with the company name. The exterior was decoratively stitched and had a layered front that extended from the lip of the hat. The hat size 21 1/2 inches. The crown depth is 6 inches. The lining needs to be restitched in a few places back to the inside, but otherwise, the condition is Very Good.
