This is a vintage sailor style black wool jacket from the 1930s to early 1940s. It has a cute belt on the back, that is accented with white plastic buttons that have brass hooks that attach to the thread. The interior is lined with a yellow rayon material. The jacket has no tags, but is nicely made. The collar is wide and rounded in the back. There is a pocket on each side, near the hip area. The jacket is 26 inches long. The chest is 41 inches. I cannot give the shoulder seam or arm length measurements, because those pieces are pieced in from the neck. There are several small angled pieces of material that are stitched in place, instead of 4 or 5 pieces, like alot of the jackets are made now. The material is dark black, but I took the photos outside and the sun makes the items appear lighter than they really are. The jacket is in EXCELLENT CONDITION shows no wear or flaws.
