This is a beautiful vintage 1930s formal gown or dress with matching jacket and belt. The dress is a shimmery salmon colored dress. I believe that the material is silk or a similar rayon. The dress is 58 inches long. The dress measurements are 34 - 29 - 37. The dress is gathered at the center upper front to add dimension to the bust line. On the left side between the bust to the waist, there are 4 metal snaps for closure. At the lower portion of the dress, there are inserts of material added to give a mermaid type flair. The jacket is shorter in the front then in the back. It is angled from the front and goes to the longest rounded peak at the back center. There are 2 large cloth cover buttons at the front center with cloth loops for attachment. The sleeves are sewn so that they look poofy. There is crinoline sewn in to the sleeves. The jacket is 20 inches long in the front and 28 inches long in the back. The bust is 37 inches and the waist is 30 inches. The belt is 35 1/2 inches long. The hem of the dress, in the back, there is a small of soil, from where the dress touched the floor. On the jacket, there is a slightly darker narrow mark at one of the armpits. Otherwise, the outfit is in excellent condition.
