It is a vintage ivory satin wedding gown from somewhere between 1930s to the early 1940s. The gown is true satin in great condition. It has the long waist with a low skirt. The short train lays in position perfectly, due to the weight chain around the hemline. The dress has long sleeves that are fitted down the arm. The sleeves come to a point on the top of the hand and have a single metal snap at the wrist. The bust has ruching to accentuate the bust line. It has a short metal zipper on the left upper side and 2 metal snaps at the upper back neck. The train is rounded and trails 24 inches longer than the front of the gown. The front gown length is 55 1/2 inches and the back is 79 1/2 inches. The dress will fit size 3 possibly up to size 5. The bust is about 34 inches around, but would fit a full bust. The waist is up to 29 inches around. The hip area is heavily pleated and would accommodate to 38 inches . The dress is in good condition, there are no hole, tears, missing stitches, stains, or picks.
